Charlie Cools is a local café in Brisbane Australia, they also support a social cycling club. Charlie Cools asked if I could design for them a cycling cap to be gifted to the club riders to show their appreciation for their support. The client asked that I could take the CC branding and add the typographic flair and style that I display with my designs for Kern Cycling.
For the design I set about dissecting the CC logo to create an abstract pattern roughly A3 size. My concept was that I would have the pattern printed onto sheets of Navy twill material of which we would cut out the sections that make up the cap. Each cap could be cut from different sections of the material making them individual and unique to each rider. Thanks to Sofie from Stitch and Dart for putting the caps together for the client and to Tommy from FTM for the printing.
